Order Acceptance and Processing
All orders are accepted when your credit/charge/debit card is processed. Any email or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email.
www.tapsbiz.com reserves the right, at any time prior to acceptance, to refuse any order or any part of an order, or to require further or better information to enable it to evaluate and/or process the order.
All specifications are approximate only and the seller shall have no liability in respect of any deviation therefrom.
The seller shall have no liability in the event of the goods infringing or being alleged to infringe the rights of any third party. In the event that the goods are or maybe the subject of third party rights, the seller shall be obliged to transfer any such title he has but without prejudice to the rights of a consumer for a remedy in the event of total or partial non-performance.
Cancellation of Orders
You may cancel your order prior to dispatch free of any charges this must be either verbal via telephone or written and in the form of an email.
Delivery of Goods
The delivery of goods to you is deemed to be a separate contract for services, distinct from your contract to purchase the goods.
Delivery may be effected in one or more installments.
Changes to the delivery address made by the purchaser after the goods have been handed to the delivery company will incur an additional charge of £5.00 for APC Courier this is a handling charge passed to us by the courier and not for any profit of our own, so please make sure you enter the correct address of where you want your goods to be delivered.
Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. Do not arrange for a plumber to install the items until after they have been delivered and checked over.
If for any reason expected delivery will exceed 14 days from the date of receipt of order the customer will be informed and given the opportunity to cancel the order.
In certain circumstances where large bulky items are being ordered for delivery to very remote locations there may be an additional carriage charge. If your order falls into this category then you will be notified of the extra cost and given the option of accepting the extra charge or cancelling your order.
Without prejudice to the statutory rights afforded to consumers under English law, www.tapsbiz.com accepts no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from its inability to do so resulting from acts of god, civil commotion, riots, flood, draught, fire, legislation or other factors outside it's control,or its decision on reasonable grounds not to do so for reasons of suspicion of credit card fraud or similar, provided that it takes all reasonable steps to notify you within fourteen (14) days of order placement that products will not be shipped as ordered. In such cases www.tapsbiz.com will not process any payment or will immediately refund any payment made, in full. It is your responsibility to ensure that you order from www.tapsbiz.com with sufficient lead time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from such non-shipment.
APC Courier will ship to the address provided to us by yourselves, we accept no liability for deliveries made to incorrect addresses therefore please ensure that you check and ensure your delivery address is correct.APC do hold proof of delivery for all deliveries and is availiable on request.
Collection Of Goods
You can if wish collect your purchase from our store, we charge a £3.50 fee for administration costs.Please call us if you wish to collect.
In the event that there is a pricing error on the website then www.tapsbiz.com will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.
Checking Goods For Damage and Notifying Us
You agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery and notify us of any damage within 48 hours of the delivery.This is considered a reasonable amount of time to check. If we are not notified of damage within 48 hours we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 48 hours.
We suggest that you take out carrier insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.
If a product is found to be faulty we please contact us and we will liase with the manufacturer of the product to ensure a solution including spares and replacements, we have no liability for fitting costs or installers return costs, we are obliged to replace parts or units not cover costs, this can be taken up with the manufacturer of the product itself not www.tapsbiz.com.
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 / Returning an Item
Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers now have the right to cancel their order within a "cooling off period" which lasts 7 days from the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of facsimile, email or letter and sent to our address as listed on the contact page of this site . If you cancel your order under these provisions then you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in good condition or alternatively you will be responsible for our costs in recovering the goods. You must make sure the goods remain undamaged and unused. The delivery of the goods to you is a seperate contract for services and is not covered by the cooling off period,therefore any refund made will not include the costs of delivery of the goods to you.
After the 7 day period any returns to us will incurr a manufacturer's restocking charge, this can vary dependant upon manufacturer but will range from 10% to 25% you will be notified this upon informing us of you wish to return an item, this charge will be passed on to the buyer and taken off of any refund given.We will send the item back to the manufacturer and once our credit is received your refund will be processed less any restocking charges if applicable.Please allow up to 28 working days for this process.
