Order Acceptance and Processing:

All orders are accepted when your credit/charge/debit card is processed. Any email or other acknowledgement of your order is merely to report that your request has been received and will be looked at, and does not in any way denote acceptance of your order regardless of any wording on the email.

Cancellation of Orders:

If you cancel your order you will be given a return email from sales@tapsbiz.com. If you telephone to cancel then the customer services representative will provide verbal confirmation of the cancellation over the telephone.Orders can only be cancelled prior to dispatch.

Delivery of Goods

The delivery of goods to you is deemed to be a separate contract for services, distinct from your contract to purchase the goods.

Delivery may be effected in one or more installments.

Changes to the delivery address made by the purchaser after the goods have been handed to the delivery company may incurr further delivery/re-direction charges, so please ensure your delivery address is correct, we do not accept liability for incorrect addresses given.

Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries. Do not arrange for a plumber to install the items until after they have been delivered and checked for damage.

If for any reason expected delivery will exceed 14 days from the date of receipt of order the customer will be informed and given the opportunity to cancel the order.

In certain circumstances where large bulky items are being ordered for delivery to very remote locations (such as Scottish Islands) there may be an additional carriage charge. If your order falls into this category then you will be notified of the extra cost and given the option of accepting the extra charge or cancelling your order.

Without prejudice to the statutory rights afforded to consumers under English law, www.tapsbiz.com accepts no liability for any failure to ship products where this results from its inability to do so resulting from acts of god, civil commotion, riots, flood, draught, fire, legislation or other factors outside it's control,or its decision on reasonable grounds not to do so for reasons of suspicion of credit card fraud or similar, provided that it takes all reasonable steps to notify you within fourteen (14) days of order placement that products will not be shipped as ordered. Returns Policy - Faulty Goods

We will refund the cost of the goods any delivery charge and the cost of returning the goods to us if the products are found to be faulty under testing if required.. Your Statutory Rights are Not Affected.

Checking Goods For Damage and Notifying Us

You agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery and notify us of any damage within 7 days of the delivery. If we are not notified of damage within 7 days we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier.If parts are damaged within your delivery once notified we will arrange replacement parts to be sent to you, we are not required to cover any costs and by law only required to replace faulty parts or if needed, a replacement unit.We will need proof of damage via Digital Image or suchlike to be able to honor any claims as we need these to return/credit from manufacturer.You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within 7 days.

Returns Policy - Changed Your Mind

If you change your mind about the product when you receive it you can return it at any time within 30 days for a replacement of equivalent value or a credit against any item of higher value. If you cannot find anything that you would like to exchange the item for we will refund you for the item less the actual costs of collection/delivery and restocking charges.

Please also be aware that some manufacturer's do charge restocking/administration charges for returned items on certain higher value products and products not kept in stock and products thats are specially ordered for you, these generally are around 25% of the cost of the item, if this is the case the restocking charge shall be passed to the buyer.

We suggest that you take out carrier insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 / Returns

Since 31 October 2000 UK consumers now have the right to cancel their order within a "cooling off period" which lasts 7 days from the day after taking delivery. Cancellation must either be in the form of facsimile, email or letter and sent to our address as listed on the contact page of this site . If you cancel your order under these provisions then you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in good condition or alternatively you will be responsible for our costs in recovering the goods. You must make sure the goods remain undamaged and unused. The delivery of the goods to you is a seperate contract for services and is not covered by the cooling off period,therefore any refund made will not include the costs of delivery of the goods to you.
